Setting Up For 'Taste Of The Peace' Tomorrow

Final preparations are underway for this year's Taste of the Peace event.

Set for tomorrow night at the TEC Centre at Evergreen Park, Taste of the Peace showcases value-added ag products produced in our region.

Community Futures Executive Director Holly Sorgen says there has been an excellent response to this year's show.

 "We have 24 producers that are committed and will be having booths there. we have three caterers that are also working with those producers to create some of their own signature dishes that'll be available to the public for  for sampling." 

Around 50 local retailers, restauranteurs and hotel reps have also been invited to a special VIP networking session with the producers.

That takes place at 5:30 tomorrow, with the doors opening to the public at 6:30.
