Wong Wants Predictable Funding For City

February 17, 2012

$10.6 million for the City of Grande Prairie in MSI money is welcome news for City Councillor, Dan Wong.

It's one of the last dumps of cash the City will get through the Municipal Sustainability Initiative, set to end in 2014.

Wong says MSI could mean some guess-work for Council at times and hopes whatever takes its place will be a little more predictable.

"Ideally, if we could get a three year allocation up front, it would really help our three year budgeting process."

Wong says being able to plan would be a big advantage for Council.
