More Crashes And Good Police Work In JanuaryFebruary 17, 2012A three-year January high for collissions in Grande Prairie. 350 crashes on local streets last month, compared to 338 same time last year, and 266 in January 2010. Officer in Charge, Inspector Ray Noble, says the issue is a real concern for Grande Prairie Mounties. "The more collission there are, whether they're injury-collissions or not, if the number of collissions rise, that indicates an increase in the risk for injury and death on the roads." Noble is also very proud of what he calls good police work in dealing with a string of pharmacy robberies to start the year as well as cooperation from the community and media. |
