Grande Prairie Man Killed in Industrial Accident

Occupational Health and Safety will be investigating  the death of a 28-year old Grande Prairie man.

RCMP report the man was working underneath some equipment at a business in the north end industrial park around noon today, when the equipment fell on him, pinning him.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital where he died of his injuries.

No name has been released.

Police say the tragedy is not suspicious and will not be conducting an investigation.
